Acadia with Grandma
On Columbus Day Marie came for a visit.
We hit the trails in Acadia.
The coastline is always awesome.

You Can't Get Theyah
A few weekends ago we visited Baxter
State Park, up the road a bit. Before we left we inquired as to
directions, and surprisingly Google obeyed local customs and told us:
this
reminded me of a certain set of Maine directions of yore, which I
learned from Bert and I. Essentially Google was telling me: "You can't
get theyah from here."
I figure it was because the route from Orono to Baxter (which Google calls 64 Blasom Dr, Millinocket, ME, 04462-2190),
takes you, well, through Millinocket, and along the same road to Millinocket
that you would have to take if you were coming from East Vassalboro.
