Stepping time!
Grandpa Topher and grandma Marie visited last weekend.They brought with them some gifts from grandpa Bill Baker, Reid and Liam's late great grandfather. Most notably these included A collapsible cup made of aluminum, and two bowties (clip on) and two lovely well and caps. Reid and Liam especially loved the caps and wore them for a few days straight. They even wore them to school.

The Beehive
We drove to Acadia, and hike the mountain called the Beehive. It does look like a beehive, although you will not see that in our pictures. A warning sign told us not to hike with children or when wet. It was raining, so we forged ahead:
It was really quite steep.
Thankfully, we have safe children!
And dexterous!
Some of the trail gave me the willies, though:
Once again, experience proves: there is no bad time to go to Acadia national Park.

The leaf fortress adventure
Sunday Katie and I collected a massive pile of leaves for the kids to play in. Then we built a small hideout inside the leaf pile. After a few upgrades here's what it looked like:
Liam and Reid begged their daddy to let them sleep in it overnight, and to join them in the process… daddy is crazy, and he agreed.
