Spring Hike in Stebbins Cold Canyon

A hike with the Kolster/Sextons.  They are always great.  You'd think it would start off something like this, right:

And it almost did, but first there was a glamour shoot with Liam and Elle hamming it up together.  The hats and poses are just too dang cute.

So we hiked up the ridge:

Saw the view:

"Hiked" back down, some of use without clothes, some of us with 30 extra pounds:

And saw the pretty Berryessa dam on the way home.

We then concluded that we need to do this more often.  Stebbins is only 30 min from Davis!

  1. That looks super fun! It's not every day you get to see a huge dam! Unless you live or work near a huge dam. But I don't, and I don't think you do. So yeah. But I think hiking in underpants is the way to go.

And Liam is frigg'n hilarious, and that's a fact.

And those views are amazing, and I'm not kidding around.

    Sentences.

  2. All of my friends back east are LOL !!! about your "spring" hike in January, but I know what you mean. Spring-like weather in Jan is pretty
great! Now that its really spring you can see lots of wildflowers at Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve.
