Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Today, we shoveled the driveway twice. The snow in the backyard was up to Katie's knees/Liam's waist. Katie went moonlight skiing with other mamas last night and Liam tried some strap-on skis last weekend and did beautifully. Tim got a snow day and didn't have to teach, though the diligent man still went to work. Sledding definitely on the docket for tomorrow. Here's to more of the white stuff.

Inside, we've been discovering exactly how fun siblings can be:
Reid, looking coy in the mitten and hat box. "Hat" is one of his words. Yesterday, he took Katie's hat off and said "hat," just as neat as you please.
And the nice little fellow is now cruising, crawling on his knees, and (sadly) tumbling down stairs.

  1. I feel like stairs are designed for falling down them. It takes a while to figure out that walking or crawling on them as an alternative use.

I love the shot of Liam in the tunnel! SO COOL! I'm glad you guys are taking advantage of winter in such a great way. Kids don't really notice that snow is cold, do they?

    Hugs and high fives!

  2. That photo of Reid in the inner tube is so great.

Galen's niece learned "hat" and "shirt" really early, too. It used to be how she said hi to people. When you walked in their house, if she had seen you through the window, you could hear her saying "shirt!" in the other room as a greeting.
