My beloved hometown of Spokane recently lost a talented, generous soul, Isamu Jordan. Som preceded me at the Spokesman Review as the staff teen reporter--we overlapped for a semester and then I took over his desk (no small feat) when he went off to WSU. This was his teen head shot:
