The leaf fortress adventure

Sunday Katie and I collected a massive pile of leaves for the kids to play in. Then we built a small hideout inside the leaf pile. After a few upgrades here's what it looked like: 

Liam and Reid begged their daddy to let them sleep in it overnight, and to join them in the process… daddy is crazy, and he agreed.

Here is the inside of the fortress:

And here we are after dinner and toothbrushing and getting ready for bed, all equipped with pajamas and sleeping bags:

Keep in mind I slept in this contraption with the two of them. The kids fell asleep rather nicely:

Somehow the morning eventually arrived:

The next day, I have a headache, but I am a very proud father.
