The Common Ground Fair

Two weekends ago, we took the kids to the Common Ground Fair in Unity Maine.  They use an old Belfast-Moosehead Lake (BML) line engine and coach to shuttle people from distant parking lots in the nearby towns of Unity and Thorndike.

Naturally, we HAD to ride.

It was beyond our wildest dreams.

Reid did some space-baby Pollacking.

We peered skeptically out on the overcast festival.

We posed for cuteness points.

We found a huge pile of sawdust, and Liam did some awesome jumps.

Oh, yeah and the servants were there too

Reid did some baby-planking.

Liam ran.

Reid grubbed.

We headed home.

  1. Wow, that looks SO FUN! Sawdust piles and paint and TRAINS!? So cool. I like how Reid is so pensive.
